April is  National Teach Kids to Save Month. We are building a generation of savers.

The Callaway Bank has been serving generations of families since 1857. In 1993, we strengthened our commitment by introducing The Callaway Kids Bank. This program is designed to teach our children the importance of saving their money at an early age.  It is our goal to help teach them wise financial skills that will prepare them in providing the lifestyle they choose for themselves, as well as their families someday.

To open a Callaway Kids Bank savings account, you’ll need to bring a birth certificate, social security card and at least $5.00. An adult will also need to be on the account with you. The adult will need to provide a valid driver’s license, passport or military ID.

In an effort to encourage kids to learn to save their money and spend it wisely, Callaway Kids Bank Partners provide offers to our members when they present their  membership cards. Click on the Link  to see the benefits of a Callaway Kids Bank membership card :

The Callaway Kids Bank Board of Directors will be reading:  Alexander Who Used To Be Rich Last Sunday to our local school districts in an effort to spread awareness of the importance to start saving early.
