The Callaway Kids Bank is designed to teach kids 17 and younger the importance of saving money at an early age. It is our goal to help teach them wise financial skills that will prepare them to provide the lifestyle they “choose” for themselves and their families someday rather than having to “settle”.

To open your very own Callaway Kids Bank Savings account, you’ll need to bring your birth certificate, social security card, and at least $5.00. An adult will also need to be on the account with you. They will need to provide a valid driver’s license, passport, or military ID.

Account Details:

$5 initial deposit to open the account
No minimum balance required
Must also have an adult on the account
Interest is compounded and paid quarterly. These accounts earn the same interest as regular savings accounts.

The Callaway Bank has been serving generations of families since 1857. In 1993, we strengthened our commitment by introducing The Callaway Kids Bank. This program is designed to teach our children the importance of saving their money at an early age. It is our goal to help teach them wise financial skills that will prepare them in providing the lifestyle they choose for themselves, as well as their families someday.

The Callaway Kids Bank Board of Directors

Students from area high schools comprise the Board of Directors with a Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Historians, and a Parliamentarian leading the Board. They assist in making decisions and represent the Kids Bank in parades, events, and C.B. Squirrel’s parties at the bank where he encourages kids to learn to save their money at an early age. Kids of all ages love C.B. Squirrel.
